The correct installation method of cutting disc includes the following steps:
Prepare tools: Use special tools, such as cross screwdrivers or wrenches, to install the cutting disc conveniently and safely.
Install the cutting disc: First, install the inner pressure plate flat side inward into the spindle and rotate it until it is stuck; then install the cutting disc without label and the outer pressure plate convex side outward into the spindle in sequence.
Fix the outer pressure plate: To ensure stability, use a special wrench to tighten the outer pressure plate clockwise.
Correct installation direction: Install the side with iron sheet (or safety clip) facing up and the flat side of the nut facing down. Do not tighten with excessive force to ensure safety.
Precautions: Avoid improper operation, such as using the cutting disc as a grinding disc, which may damage the thickness of the cutting disc, thereby reducing its resistance to cutting and eventually causing tearing (commonly known as frying disc).
Replacement considerations: When the cutting disc is used to the size of the nameplate or slightly larger, it should be considered for replacement to avoid damage to the angle grinder and ensure safety.
